Fibroblast Plasma treatments are non-invasive, non-surgical procedures that shrink excess skin and wrinkles while instantly smoothing the areas with very little downtime. The actual science behind the procedure is that the handheld device forms ionized gases in the air to create a small electrical arc or “plasma discharge” similar to a tiny lightning bolt stimulating instant contractions and tightening of the skin ́s fibers. This arc treats the skin with pinpoint precision without spreading to the surrounding area. Sublimation of fluids are a direct result of the this discharge without affecting the skin surrounding that “dot” while also remaining only on the epidermis layer. Dermal fibroblast are the most common cells within the dermis layer of the skin. These cells are responsible for generating connective tissue and allowing the skin to recover from injury.
